BEGINNER PILATES MAT This class teaches awareness of breath and alignment of the spine utilizing the deep torso muscles. Controlled movements in the form of basic mat exercises help build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk.
INTERMEDIATE PILATES MAT This class teaches an expanded Pilates Mat exercise series. Light weights may be added with a Pilates format. 45 min.
MAT is based on Pilates, floor barre and dance work. The focus is on improving strength and flexibility for the total body. The movements are specific, controlled and are done in a series to create an overall feeling of harmony and balance.
