Modification is the key to Pilates exercise success. All exercises are developed with modifications that can make a workout challenging as well as safe for a person at any level. In Pilates, we lengthen the spine and support the length through the abdominal core called "the powerhouse." We believe that re-educating the bodyin how to move from the core prevents injury and rejuvenates the spine--and therefore, the mind/body. As Joseph Pilates said, "You are only as young as your spine." Pilates Mat group exercise classes are free to members & Exhale Studio pass holders. The Weight Resistant Workout |

GRAVITY is designed to deliver quick, efficient and effective workouts. If you didn't have time to strength train before, you can now enjoy maximum benefits with shorter time commitments. The gravity-training system (GTS) encourages functional exercise by using the body’s own weight as resistance. A pulley and cable system and free-motion glideboard adjusts to nine different levels of resistance, engaging all major muscle groups and facilitates more than 250 strength training, stretching and Pilates exercises. During the 30 and 45 minute sessions, participants work at his/her chosen level of resistance, while enjoying the challenge and camaraderie of a group training session.
