GENTLE PILATES MAT

CARDIO

This class focuses on the basic mat exercises developed by Joseph Pilates, taught in the classic beginner sequence.  The class teaches awareness of breath and alignment of the spine utilizing the deep torso muscles. Controlled movements in the form of basic mat exercises help build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk.
